Did you know you can book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online? If you would like to do this, please collect an application form from the surgery for your user name and password. Once you have these, please visit the online booking page.
Booking an Appointment with a GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (‘ANP’)
If you need to see a GP/ANP for a routine appointment, please contact the surgery on the day you would like to be seen and an appointment will be offered to you for that day or the next available day. Whilst we cannot guarantee which doctor/ANP you will see (unless it is an advance appointment) we will try to accommodate any preference that you may have.
If you want to see a particular doctor/ANP, you will be offered the next available, advanced, appointment for that healthcare professional. This may not be available for a number of days. You can book an appointment with a particular doctor/ANP up to four weeks in advance.
If you need to see a GP/ANP urgently, you will be offered the next emergency appointment with the duty doctor.
Our phone lines open at 8am. We experience a high level of calls first thing in the morning, you may be asked to hold until we can answer your call. We appreciate your patience.
If you need an interpreter for your appointment please inform reception at the time of booking so this can be arranged prior to your appointment.
Appointments with a GP/ANP are 10 minutes long. If you require a longer appointment please advise reception when booking.
Once you have made an appointment it is important that you arrive on time.
Booking an Appointment with a Nurse/HCA
If you need to see the practice nurse/HCA please contact the surgery in advance to make an appointment. Each of our practice nurses have a special interest in specific areas of healthcare so please check with reception to ensure you are booked with the most appropriate nurse.
