New Telephone System

You said “it’s really hard to get through on the phone”

We did – organised for the installation of a new digital telephone system.

On 9 December 2020 our new digital telephone system goes live at Sutherland Lodge Surgery.  We have been able to increase the number of lines available.  You will now hear a automated queuing system letting you know how many people are ahead of you.  Queuing information will be available to reception staff and the management team telling us how many people are waiting to be answered.  During busy periods this will allow us to redeploy members of the team to answer the phones.

The new system allows us greater flexibility to change or add messaging to help up to continue to improve the service we offer you by telephone.
